Yellow Water
Cruise - Gagudju Dreaming
Yellow Water Cruise - Gagudju Dreaming an
indigenous operated business.
The cruise went for around 90mins (I really
wasn't keeping track as too engrossed in the
beautiful sights I forgot). Our guide was
a young aussie - who was so enthusiatistic
about the Billabong and an abudance of knowledge
on local, state and government issues with
Yellow Waters he never ceased to amaze us.

Point Stuart
Wilderness Lodge - Mary River Wetlands Cruise
The
Rockhole Billabong is part of the largest
permanent wetland area of the Mary River system.
It joins Corroborree Billabong and forms one
of the most diverse ecosystems in Australia.
The term billabong comes from an Aboriginal
term meaning always water. The Top End wet
season transforms the Mary River Wetlands
into an inland sea and replenishes the earth
after the long dry. Fish, crocodiles and birds
breed and flourish. As the flood waters subside,
the dry season creates an awesome spectacle
for people to view huge numbers of birds and
large crocodiles.

Adelaide River
Jumping Crocodile Cruise - Selfdrive
A jumping crocodile cruise is
a must for any visitor to the Northern Territory
and we are exceptionally proud of our cruise!
In keeping with our small group philosophy
our (child friendly) shaded boat only carries
a maximum of 30 and operates 4 times a day
over the dry season. The jumping crocodile
cruise is located on our private stretch of
the Adelaide River at the end of Fogg Dam
Road. It is about an hour and a quarter drive
from Darwin. You will see our territorial
crocodiles who all have names at VERY close
range for exceptional photo opportunities
and our amazing birds will impress you. We
have deliberately kept a low impact approach
to the cruise site to respect this pristine
area and the animals that inhabit it.
